The iPhone 3GS has recently seen a wave of Augmented Reality apps and games hitting the app store. Now it's Nintendo's turn to bring AR gaming to their own handheld device, the DSi.
Much like Arcade Reality, System Flaw incorporates the camera and the compass to bring alien invaders into your own reality. The top screen acts as a radar, pinpointing enemy locations, while the touch screen is where the shooting takes place.
During the battles, you must move around the room, manage your health and energy bar, and use defensive or rage mode to clear the skies (the dining room, the toilet, the bus...) of aliens. There are 100 challenging levels with 10 unique creatures and 3 huge bosses to fight.
System Flaw is available for DSi only and is out in US stores this week (not downloadable apparently). The game is expected to hit UK retail stores in February 2010. Visit the official site for game play footage and an engaging home page: www.systemflaw.com
